The woman at reception was unfriendly unhelpful and unprofessional and downlight rude. If you're unfamiliar with this type of Hotel it's easy to be very confused even upon check-in. It actually seems more like a glorified hostile than a hotel. The rooms were the size of a large closet! While they were clean they were very uncomfortable. We had a king size bed that was butting up against the wall on three sides. After spending about 10 minutes in the room, my wife and I decided that there was no way we could stay there and be comfortable. We left and went to another hotel. However Citizen M refused to give us a refund even though we bought travel insurance. I would warn anyone to stay away from this hotel unless you are prepared to stay and what is essentially like a very small dorm room

Well located. Clean. Nice and cool when hot outside. Didn’t use the restaurant and bar areas. Good place to get back to after a long day exploring.

Upon arrival the AC was not working properly. We informed the staff the following morning before leaving the hotel for the day. We came back eight hours later and AC had not been fixed. It was 83 degrees. We were offered a different room in with a king bed and a couch. Our previous room had two beds. We made due but it was uncomfortable. The AC in the room had just been fixed and it was still 76 degrees for the first four hours. Additionally the room was not as clean as we hoped, specifically the bathroom.
While things happen the staff was slow to help and limited options were provided.
